SETTING SCREEN RESOLUTION TO 1024 x 768

To change your screen resolution

1. Minimize this screen by clicking the minus at the top of the page after reading these directions.
2. Move the cursor over a clean area of your desk top and press the right mouse button.
3. Select the properties section by clicking the word properties in the pop-up window.
4. Select the folder labeled settings. At the bottom of this window you will see the resolution your monitor is currently set at.
5. Move the slider to 1024 x 768 and then click apply.
6. When prompted to apply the settings, click OK. Your screen will turn black for a moment.
7. Once your screen resolution changes, you have 15 seconds to confirm the change. Click Yes to confirm the change; click No or do nothing to revert to your previous setting.

Note:

• A higher screen resolution reduces the size of items on your screen and increases the relative space on your desktop.
